Fifth Avenue Blooms

By Cathy Schneider, Sphere Trending Trend Futurist, Director of Color Theory

During our trendspotting travels to NYC, our team was pleased to discover, for the third year in a row, Van Cleef & Arpel’s uptown art installation, Fifth Avenue Blooms, to celebrate spring on NYC’s Fifth Avenue for the month of May. Paris-based artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet created a multi-dimensional “unfolding garden” utilizing “architectural garden details such as railings, carved stone planters from the 19th century and beautiful alleys” to quote Navet. Van Cleef and Arpels organized poetry readings, live painting, dance performances, and other cultural events throughout the neighborhood to celebrate spring.
